Purpose and Objective

The Marketing Associate will perform work across multiple marketing sub-families including product marketing, internal and external communications, and brand. They will assist the Marketing team in growing awareness of the brand, establishing the firm as an industry expert and promoting our global experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design, production, and maintenance of creative content for LGRA.
  • Help to ensure brand consistency throughout all materials and manage internal branded templates.
  • Aid in the design and production of content including thought leadership pieces and industry monitors.
  • Assist in the creation of internal communications.
  • Help maintain and update standard email signatures for all staff.
  • Facilitate the ordering of business cards for the team.
  • Support team with external communications, putting out press releases, and developing content for the media.
  • Work with vendors and help be responsible for branded merchandise inventory and publication subscriptions.
  • Help maintain HubSpot CMS contacts for internal and external marketing lists.
  • Assist with digital responsibilities such as updating website search bar results, creating graphics, and video-editing as needed.
  • Work closely with teams such as Group Brand, LGRI, LGIA and LGIMA to collaborate on marketing initiatives and stay coordinated on brand and messaging across the UK and US.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on the planning of staff-wide events and celebrations.
  • Special projects, additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements

Education

  • College Degree (BA / BS) required. Degree in marketing, communications or other related fields is preferred.

Experience/Knowledge

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing role required.
  • Previous experience in an institutional marketing role, creating marketing collateral and presentations preferred.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point) required; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Previous experience with HubSpot CMS preferred.
  • Previous experience with WordPress preferred.
  • Video-editing experience preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to develop an understanding of highly technical content and translate into appropriate marketing content.
  • Ability to form strong peer relationships with other teams within the organization and liaise with other marketing professionals at L&G.
  • Strong initiative. A great teammate with a willingness to jump in on projects and lend a hand when needed.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Highly detail oriented with the ability to face problems that may be difficult or complex in nature.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple work-streams with limited oversight from Manager.
  • Critical problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $66,413 - $77,015 USD annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The current bonus target for the position is 5% of the base salary with a stretch to twice the target, modified for corporate and individual performance.
