Position Summary:

Operates Automatic Palletizer which packages empty food containers (cans) in quantities of 4,000 to 11,000 per pallet. Completes all required daily reporting of production and quality. Operates at sufficient speed to allow line to continuously flow without interruption or back up. Maintains proper housekeeping.

Essential Job Functions (listing most important first):

Operation of manufacturing equipment via manipulation of control panel buttons in proper sequence to ensure proper operation of equipment.

Continuously monitors quality of product and follows established protocols when defects are found.

Manual placement of chipboard (cardboard sheet) between layers of product fills in manually when voids are present, places labels on pallets, places top frame on top of the finish pallet.

Completes all required documentation for purposes of traceability, production reporting and quality requirements.

Maintains proper housekeeping

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, physically fit to bend and twist. Mentally fit to work safely under pressure to ensure continuous operation of the line.
