Adelphi University comprises a small liberal arts college and a cluster of professional schools that have grown up in close relationship to the needs of the region. Our mission is to provide quality undergraduate and graduate education and to offer professional preparation of the first rank in arts, education, business, clinical psychology, social work, nursing and other health sciences.

Alfred University was founded in 1836 by liberal, independent thinkers who placed high value on education for all citizens. Alfred University is the second oldest co-educational college in the United States and one of the earliest nineteenth century colleges to have enrolled African American and Native American students.

Bramson ORT College is a technical college in the Metropolitan New York area of the United States. Bramson ORT was established in 1942 to serve refugees and immigrants during World War II. It became a College in 1977 to provide quality technical postsecondary education and to meet the educational and career needs of the New York community.
