Community Outreach to Veterans

| These organizations are participating in our exclusive Community Outreach program. Through this program, groups and organizations that directly work with Veterans receive open job notifications on a daily basis that match the criteria they specifically requested. These daily notifications (known as JobCasts™) can be customized by location, profession, education and experience. |

We vigorously enforce state Labor Laws to give businesses that obey the law an even break. We work aggressively to ensure a fair wage for all workers. We protect the safety and health of workers and the public. We help the unemployed via temporary payments (unemployment insurance). We link job seekers with employers. We guide workers to training that will keep New York strong in the world economy. |

ESGR - Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve - New York The current National Defense Strategy indicates that the National Guard and Reserve will be full partners in the fully integrated Total Force. Our Reserve forces will spend more time away from the workplace defending the nation, supporting a demanding operations tempo and training to maintain their mission readiness.
In this environment, civilian employers play a critical role in the defense of the nation by complying with existing employment laws protecting the rights of workers who serve in the Reserve component.
