Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Coordinate and manage the U.S. Logistics Network Facilities Team to assure best in class facilities service and performance including overall physical plant maintenance and compliance, Capital Project Management, space planning, and project controls functions including the planning, design, and execution of construction projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning building maintenance and operational programs
  • Managing all vendor contracts under corporate guidance
  • Ensuring the efficiency of all building systems
  • Assist global EHS and assist with site safety programs
  • Preparing departmental operating reports and budgets
  • Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
  • Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met
  • Managing facilities planning and space allocation
  • Preparing cost estimates for moves and infrastructural equipment
  • Coordinating with department heads and building contractors
  • Managing maintenance of grounds
  • Plan, design, and facilitate strategic, effective, and efficient utilization of space and facilities for the site; develop the Site Master Plan.
  • Ensure that the Capital Plan is prepared and delivered, and that capital reporting is consistent and accurate.
  • Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations
  • Coordinating building security and maintenance services under corporate guidance
  • Managing and supervising allfacilities personnel
  • Overseeing all building functions
  • Coordinating all maintenance issues and schedules
  • Preparing and filing reports with government and regulatory authorities including environmental permitting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, business management or related field preferred. Certification in facilities management a plus.
  • Professional Qualifications: Full membership of relevant professional bodies, professional license and PMI certification.
  • At least 10 years of facilities project management experience with at least 5 years experience in a compliant facility management leadership position.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The incumbent must be a mature, flexible, sensible individual capable of working effectively in stressful situations, and be able to shift priorities based on needs. The position requires onsite presence and may require some travel.
