Overview

ALTOUR AIR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional that can secure new contracts. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve aggressive yet achievable sales goals. This position manages quotes and negotiates contracts utilizing all platforms available for aircraft sourcing to procure the best aircraft for clients. Considerate, professional communication with providers is imperative. Good understanding of Part 135 rules and regulations. Thorough knowledge of aircraft and airport operational capabilities and requirements, both domestically and abroad.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. The salary range posted represents the pay range for U.S. candidates. If the job posting indicates that the role is available for international candidate consideration, the salary range will be based on the local market for the country where the candidate would be working.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities
    Responsible for soliciting and securing new contracts; no cold calling.
  • Negotiates and prepares client contracts, verify provider contracts, and confirm insurance coverage using company guidelines to ensure our standards are met. Vet all providers through Wyvern or ARGUS. Evaluates prospects and opportunities in terms of financial gain, mission/strategy fit, and organizational capacity.
  • Consult client/agent for feedback upon completion of the flight. Maintain open communication for future business.
  • Manage client requests and expectations. Coordinate with provider from booking to completion of the flight. Prepare flight itineraries and any other special requests for the trip. Track all flight movements and correspond with client/agent as specified.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our agent partners and clients.
  • Maintain current insurance database for all providers. Send marketing efforts to existing clients and agents to further our relationship.
  • Participate in meetings and tradeshows as needed.
  • Proficient calculation of commissions for ALTOUR AIR and our partners. Partner with team regarding trip payments to be made and received. Verify provider invoices for accuracy. Prepare client invoices. Submit all paperwork to Accounting in a timely manner.
  • Ability to sell consultatively by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a solution.
Qualifications
  • 5 years Charter/ Private Jet / Aviation industry sales experience required.
  • BS/BA degree or relevant aviation industry experience
  • Expect to work nights, weekends and holidays as the demands of your trips dictate.
  • Must have a great attitude, self-motivated and able to work in an environment with little supervision.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Able to represent our organization professionally and ethically in all transactions.
  • Must have personal integrity.
  • Proven success in selling charter management services.
