Position Summary/General Description:

MC2 is a leading Experiential Marketing & Production company. The industry is fast paced and offers a variety of business initiatives that never make two days the same. We are looking for an experienced detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing journal entries, month-end reporting and reconciliation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Guide accounting personnel in their daily tasks.
• Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accurate reporting and proper ledger maintenance.
• Assist in discrepancy discovery and troubleshooting.
• Manage a set of workpapers for month end closes.
• Optimize time management to ensure timely closings.
• Assist in financial consolidation and reporting.
• Assist other departments with their accounting needs.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Collaborative Functions:

• Risk Management and Internal Controls
• Audit Preparation and Compliance

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Minimum of 4 years accounting experience required. Public accounting experience preferred.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics and or similar data base software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
