Consultant (Multiple Positions Available)

Design and review DevOps (CI/CT) pipeline developed using BDD (Behavior Driven Approach) & TDD (Test Driven Approach) technique/framework.

Use automation to accelerate pipeline process, scale environments, run reliable tests and monitor the pipeline.

Conduct feasibility analysis of various cloud solutions i.e., AWS, GCP, etc. to identify the best fit for FedEx systems/applications.

Use DevOps best practices (automated acceptance testing, version control, continuous feedback etc.) to streamline Agile SDLC and STLC.

Perform script designing and execution using VBScript hybrid framework on Micro Focus UFT tool.

Create automation script for REST-API testing using Postman tool.

Create complete data driven SOAP UI projects and test Webservices / XML / SOAP and RESTful services using SoapUI tool.

Write and execute SQL queries for functional test data maintenance.

Virtualize and test various types of SOA based services including Web Services, REST Services.

Use service virtualization needs/requirements and create VSIs using WSDL, recording request & response pairs.

Participate in Agile planning meetings, daily stand ups, grooming sessions, and other sprint related activities such as sprint test designing, execution, defects management, and sprint & system demos.

Perform analysis of business requirements and design Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Estimates, Test Scenarios and Test Cases.

Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix to ensure the test designing coverage.

Conduct functional test execution and reporting.

Perform defect reporting, tracking, and coordination with development, POs, project teams.

May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Agile methodologies; Test and Defect Management Tools; Agile Management Tools; Cloud Computing Services; Scripting in Micro Focus UFT; Postman; SoapUI; GitLab; CA DevTest tool; Azure DevOps; SQL; and Functional Testing of offline products.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk. Salary: $113,194 - 114,194per year.
