Performs general administrative and secretarial duties. Oversees clerical functions of the department. Maintains and promotes overall office efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Reviews and evaluates existing clerical systems to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Assists in the interview process and participates in completing evaluation forms for clerical staff.
  • Processes payroll sheets, approves vacation and holiday time and ensures adequate office coverage at all times.
  • Assigns work and ensures it is carried out correctly.
  • Performs record keeping, patient filing, collecting payments and preparing of statistical data.
  • Keeping inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Maintains and updates division manuals, as needed.
  • Oversees clerical staff within department.
  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Job Qualification

  • Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
