Receives and stores deliveries of product, equipment and supplies. Fills requisitions from departments. Transports and delivers stocks to units. Maintains records of inventories received and issued.
Responsibility:
Receives product, equipment and supplies. Assures that quantities received are correct and recorded accurately in the computerized inventory system
Fills requisitions from departments and issues supplies from stock; maintains records of stock issued utilizing UPC bar codes. Delivers supplies to floors as required
Unpacks and stores supplies on shelves or on floor, according to instructions and/or identifying information, such as type of material, size, style, etc.
Transports articles exceeding 50lbs., as required and operates lifting equipment including but not limited to forklifts
Delivers exchange carts to various med/surgical units
Compiles weekly and monthly inventories issued and supplies in stock as required
Maintains Material Management in a clean and orderly condition and observes all department policies
Accesses medication delivery and/or medication areas, as authorized, in the performance of required duties, as needed

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Prior related experience, preferred
Driver's License, preferred
Ability to understand simple mathematics and inventory flow
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
