Job Title: Senior Accountant - SEC Stocks Coordination and Financial Compliance

Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance within our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass SEC stocks coordination and Revenue recording.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate SEC stocks activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee SOX compliance efforts, implementing controls and procedures to safeguard financial data and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain company masters, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records and databases.
  • Conduct pricing reviews to make sure payments are in line, review contracts to make sure everything matches
  • Match revenue to appropriate transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Post invoices accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining an organized record of financial transactions.
  • Process customer credits efficiently, resolving discrepancies and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Apply payments accurately to customer accounts, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  • Project cash receipts for future periods, assisting with cash flow management and planning.
  • Post rebates and incentives, ensuring proper accounting treatment and adherence to contractual agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in SEC stocks coordination, SOX compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial information to stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
