Overview

As a member of the Americas NFRM team, you will play an important role in Deutsche Bank's risk management framework. In the role of Americas Non-Financial Risk Analyst - Legal Entity, you will work with senior members of the team and other stakeholders to undertake and develop processes to drive risk management of material entities and branches. In doing so you will gain a deep understanding of Deutsche Bank and its businesses across its Banking and Broker Dealer activities. You will support the monitoring and reporting for risk as well as ensure that regulatory and internal requirements are met. With a desire to learn risk management, you will gain an invaluable insight into the Firm and the ability to contribute in a visible way from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Support entity/branch level risk monitoring and Non-Financial Risk Management (NRFM) deliverable execution; support the reporting cycle and maintain entity/branch level Non Financial Risk (NFR) data and supporting information

  • In a joint effort with the NFRM Reporting team in Mumbai, execute monthly reporting schedule and ensure quality of information provided to entity/branch boards and committees

  • Develop and demonstrate deep understanding of Deutsche Bank's entity/branch structure to be an effective 2nd line function to the entity/branch management

  • Develop and demonstrate deep understanding of business activities and regulation for each entity/branch to provide insightful commentary and drive risk conversations

  • Apply Non-Financial risk lens to the entity/branch profiles

  • Develop and maintain network of stakeholders to achieve entity/branch objectives

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree (ideally Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, Accounting)

  • Financial qualification a plus (CIMA, CPA, CFA)

  • Good understanding of the Finance industry

  • Understanding of risk management principles, experience in risk management and experience in regulatory frameworks is a plus e.g., Banking and Broker Dealer

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Tableau and or other reporting / visualization tools

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $70,000 to $102,500.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
