What you will do:

As the Manager of Global Marketing for Redken at L'Oreal, you will:

  • Lead the long-term development of products and categories worldwide, aligning with brand needs and category strategy.
  • Initiate briefs for new projects and collaborate with partners across Research & Innovation, claims, artwork teams, and development, ensuring seamless execution from ideation to production.
  • Identify consumer, salon, and technological trends globally to inform product development strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including digital, education, and creative to deliver successful product launches and dossiers.
  • Foster strong relationships with the US Marketing Team and other Drive countries to ensure alignment and synergy in marketing efforts.
  • Generate innovative and revolutionary product ideas and concepts tailored to the professional salon industry.
  • Work collaboratively with Education, R&D, Corporate, Countries, and Zones to refine new ideas and concepts.
  • Develop and implement new product strategies, including positioning, formulation, packaging, media, merchandising, and pricing.
  • Conduct market research, focus groups, and competitive analysis to inform product development decisions.

Who you are:

  • You hold a college degree, preferably in business or creative fields such as BBA, BFA, BA, or AAS, with a high school diploma as a minimum requirement.
  • You have related Marketing experience, with at least 2-5 years for the Senior Manager position.
  • Ideally, you have experience in hair color, hair care, and/or hair styling marketing.
  • You demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the professional beauty industry, including understanding metrics and performance measures for all distribution channels.
  • You have proven experience in creating a consistent and comprehensive brand presence across multiple channels.
  • Attention to detail is one of your strong suits.
  • You excel in project management and planning.
  • Your ability to make quick decisions, problem-solve, and multitask effectively is noteworthy.
  • You possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effectively managing relationships with diverse international internal and external contacts.
  • You exhibit strong execution, leadership, and consensus-building/decision-making skills.
  • Computer literacy on Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is part of your skill set.
  • You are open to periodic domestic or international travel (max. 25%).
  • Any language skills you possess would be a valuable asset.
  • You can articulate clear business direction and strategies, drive goals and objectives, liaise between different departments, participate in senior-level management discussions, and facilitate the creative process at all levels.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets for category-specific executions is a requirement.
  • Familiarity with the fashion and beauty business is preferred.

Additional Benefits Information as Follows:

Salary Range: $100,300- $140,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
