Primary Responsibilities

  • Copy detailed drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs by hand or using computer-aided design software.
  • Structural drafting of all phases of the construction documents, structural drawings on CAD from engineering sketches, and instruction.
  • Procedures for the production of design development and construction documents, a thorough knowledge of structural and roadway planning, drafting, detailing, and building materials.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years with excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Excel
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Revit and/or MicroStation
  • NYCDEP, Wastewater and Drinking Water Client experience
  • Preference is given to local candidates
