Job Summary: The CMM Operator is tasked with operating ZEISS CMM equipment to ensure product compliance. This contract role involves adherence to detailed protocols and validation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
*Operate CMM equipment to measure and inspect incoming airfoils, ensuring compliance with production standards and quality specifications.
*Review and interpret CMM reports, escalating any issues to the Inspection Lead.
*Maintain shift inspection targets and effective communication between shifts through logbook updates.
*Identify and report any operational or material defects, maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness per safety regulations.
*Conduct detailed inspections, verify compliance with specifications, and assist in resolving non-conformance issues to ensure final product clearance.
*Utilize GD&T and complex surface plate layouts as needed for accurate measurements.
*Compile detailed inspection reports and MRB reports for nonconforming parts.
*Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and address issues, ensuring customer expectations are met.
*Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:
*Preferred experience in inspecting metal aerospace parts.
*Proficient in shop math and precision measurement instruments.
*Skilled in operating CMM equipment and reading blueprints.
*Familiarity with Calypso software is advantageous.
* AS or BS in Engineering desirable.

This role requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high-quality standards in aerospace component manufacturing.
