Job Summary

This role supports the Executive Leadership Team and all levels of the Markets organization through the delivery of strategic & tactical analyses and provides cross-functional reporting as needed to support initiatives around pricing management, customer retention, risk mitigation and profitable growth.

Principal Responsibilities:

Responsible for successful creation of analyses to improve profitability such as:

  • Reporting, Analysis, Strategy & Creation Responsibilities:
    • Reviews and executes reports providing visibility of Business KPI performance metrics to the sales organization for sales incentive compensation purposes
    • Develops and interprets financial results to aid in senior level business planning and strategy development (for the sales and marketing teams)
    • Coordinates and leads presentations on industry and market trends to identify opportunities for growth / pricing actions
    • Creates and supports analyses to provide customer and business analysis including recommendations to help in pricing, surcharge and contractual decision making.
    • Collaborates and coordinates with Finance and Product Management as required to support the annual budget, operating plan and forecasting process.
    • Drives towards automation and self-service by supporting new tool development in Salesforce, Excel, SQL Server, SAP and Business Warehouse.
  • Support the calculation of price updates for formula pricing customers using the proprietary system tool
  • Support annual price escalation activities as a core team member
  • Provide support to the markets organization leadership (VP of Sales & Marketing, VP of Product Management & Sales Performance, VP of Bulk Sales, VP of Industry Sales, VP of Distributor Sales, Regional Directors, etc.) to identify opportunities to improve customer profitability and deliver strategic initiatives

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical, quantitative and financial skills
  • Sound business judgement & strategic thinking
  • Financial modeling
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, Salesforce
  • Strong expertise in Excel, SQL, Salesforce, PowerBI/Tableau (or comparable data analytics tools)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Strong organizational and work planning skills
  • ERP systems knowledge, preferably SAP / BW
