What You'll Get to Do:

Marketing Campaign Management

  • Manage external agencies and vendors to insure on-time and in-budget projects and campaigns-suggesting and assisting procurement in onboarding new tools and vendors as needed to support category growth
  • Work with HQ and regional marketing teams to support and lead global marketing activities.
  • Work with internal D2C teams as well as key dealers such as e.g. Amazon, Best Buy to develop and manage marketing activities that enhance brand awareness on shop.Panasonic.com and us.Technics.com websites and in retailer stores and online and increase sales, working closely with the digital experience team to track results and optimize campaigns.

Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Work closely with the product team to understand category goals, challenges and budgets, developing closely aligned marketing strategy for each managed category
  • Align closely with customer insights and digital marketing team to understand audience learnings, market trends and campaign impact to continue to optimize marketing spend and drive growth in demand and sales
  • Maintain strong understanding of the competitive landscape as well as current tools, trends, technologies and tactics available, and regularly suggest new or modified activities and or processes to support market share growth

Digital Experience and Content

  • Collaborate on social media activity, working closely with global team members and external agencies to support overall category goals, assisting to build social following and engagement, and monitor and report on paid support and channel analytics
  • Align with and support the internal content team to build out product detail pages, landing pages and brand store-fronts that tie into 360 category strategy
  • Implement and manage UTM's, category hashtags, target keywords, etc. to ensure that all digital campaign data is ingested and processed correctly
  • Work with internal creative and content team members to develop and/or modify visual assets and copy as needed for sales support, product content and ad campaigns

Communication and Reporting

  • Own communication of marketing strategy and all active campaigns, activities and results with internal US teams as well as HQ teams in Japan
  • Maintain weekly meetings with product team as well as larger marketing team to align on tactics, project status, campaign assets, approvals and in-flight optimizations
  • Build out monthly and quarterly reports on marketing activities and results, including key learnings and recommendations

What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5 plus years of experience in marketing
  • Experience in consumer electronics industry, especially Audio and or Video fields preferred
  • Product launch experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and tools - Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, programmatic/display/native advertising, social media platforms.
  • Strong experience in project and budget management, with proven ability managing multiple projects and campaigns concurrently
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting and reporting marketing campaign results, as well as understanding and applying customer insights data to marketing strategy Ability to manage and evaluate performance of marketing agency, collaborating on daily projects as well as long term strategy planning.
  • MS office skills, especiallyExcel andPowerPoint. Experience Monday.com is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences and ability to report activities to different seniority levels throughout the organization as well as with global teams.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 15 percent. This may include overnight and some international travel
  • Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed
  • Available to physically work from Newark HQ for 2 days a week

The salary range of$92K-$115k isjust one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
