Overview: Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) seeks a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Stamford, CT. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in driving business process improvements, facilitating technology enhancements, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization. This job operates in a hybrid environment with expectation of two days per week in a professional office environment in Stamford, CT. (Free shuttle service from Metro North)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
2. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for technology solutions and process enhancements.
3. Solution Design: Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications, ensuring alignment with CISI's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
4. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
5. Project Management: Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams to implement technology solutions, coordinating activities, managing timelines, and mitigating risks.
6. Vendor Management: Evaluate third-party vendors and technology solutions, providing recommendations based on business needs, cost-effectiveness, and compliance considerations.
7. Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during technology implementations and process changes, ensuring user adoption and satisfaction.
8. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions.
9. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems, processes, and tools, addressing questions, resolving issues, and promoting best practices.
10. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes, systems, and operations, driving efficiency gains and enhancing the overall effectiveness of CISI's operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex business problems, propose creative solutions, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of project management principles, including project planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to insurance and financial services is desirable. Experience with insurance is a plus.
• Experience with Sales Force.
