Project Manager, Finance Transformation

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

From accounting and financial planning to risk/fraud analysis and payments, our Finance team ensures not only our company's financial security, but also that our customers can buy from us with confidence.

The Project Manager, Finance Transformation position is a well organized, meticulous individual that is responsible for the seamless execution of initiatives within Finance to support transformation goals.

Must have a strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies & tools and the ability to execute on delivery, with a proven track record of managing Finance or Financial Systems projects. Knowledge of finance processes & general accounting principles is strongly preferred. The applicant should display a positive and proactive demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Be a strong communicator, both written and oral, as the position requires frequent dealings with colleagues in other parts of the organization and vendors.

In this role you will get to:

  • Lead planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities to deliver key project(s), with focused management of the critical path

  • Develop and facilitate a demand intake process for new Finance projects including resource planning

  • Develop & maintain the strategic roadmap and program portfolio for Finance initiatives

  • Create and reviews project documentation such as charters, business requirements and RACIs

  • Conduct stage gate, project health and readiness reviews for key initiatives

  • Define and publish status dashboards & KPIs for initiatives

  • Develop, implement and monitor governance around Finance systems, processes and projects

  • Develop and implement escalation protocols for project and operational issues

  • Lead retrospective reviews for new supply/product initiatives

  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to streamline Finance processes and enhance efficiency

  • Stay up-to-date on project management best practices and innovations in related technology

  • Foster a positive and collaborate work environment, promoting continuous learning and development within project teams

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience managing Finance or Financial Systems projects

  • Leadership or managerial experience is preferred

  • Organized and self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

  • Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders up to Senior Management

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Experience and knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Expert skills in project planning tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheets

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite including Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent

  • Working experience and technical knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP ERP systems and related interfaces preferred

  • Experience with Data Governance and Data Management preferred

  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally

  • Strong analytical ability requiring a high degree of attention to detail

  • PMP certification preferred

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is$90,000-$115,000.
