Summary: As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization this role serves as the stewardship and account execution manager for all national, territory and region business development partnerships; this critical role will also ensure increase revenue year over year based on customer centric success. Serves as the liaison across operations, marketing and communications, legal and finance for all non-pharmaceutical efforts.

Reports to: Manager's Title

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as business development account leader to promote the understanding of the LLS mission throughout Regional, National, and Territory campaigns for external partnerships.
  • Work in partnership with Education Services, Health Research and Advancement Operations departments to effectively communicate the LLS overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.

Develop Targeted Donor Cultivation and Stewardship Materials

  • Liaise and strategize with business partners across the enterprise on projects and programs and how to most advantageously position our value proposition to donors.
  • Support the development of general information decks, overviews, speaking points, acknowledgement and other letters, and other collateral materials for relationship building activities with individual, corporate and foundation donors and prospects.
  • Liaise with CE and Advancement/Philanthropy operation to assist in writing proposals, PPT decks, impact reports and targeted collateral to support cultivation activities and solicitations

Strategy and Vision

  • Ensure corporate partnership strategies are executed flawlessly with national corporate partners and product teams both internally and externally.
  • Create communication plans and lead internal partnership kick off calls to inform regions and product teams of activation plans to ensure success and proven return on investment for corporate partners.
  • Serves as the point of contact for all stewardship and execution strategies for business development and partnerships team.
  • Serves as the business development lead for LLS Corporate council. Lead internal and external communications. Develop final agendas, meeting materials and meeting logistics for LLS staff and council volunteer members.
  • Serve as the business development lead for LLS for meetings such as Research Summit, Dare to Dream Summit, others TBD.
  • Serve as the business development liaison with CE to ensure execution for partner benefits are delivered on time.
  • Serve on national account teams.
  • Serve as the business development lead to maintain One Source and decks/resources on LLS intranet.
  • Help to manage partnership budgets and focus for future fiscal years.
  • Main point of contact to coordinate external conferences in which BD attends/exhibits and external partner's summits where LLS will be attending/exhibiting.
  • Support/execute all stewardship strategies for retail campaigns raising $250k+ and all national sponsors.

High Impact Fundraising and Stewardship

  • Cultivate strong working relationships with national, territory, and region leaders, and others throughout the organization to ensure the successful integration and implementation of campaigns/programs.
  • Identify and lead stewardship plans for corporate partners.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote Organizational initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Leadership Acknowledgements
  • Executes acknowledgement letters for all sponsorships of $250k or more to LLS for Business Development.
  • Facilitates high-touch opportunities for LLS Leadership to thank top donors in the form of phone calls, handwritten notes, or in person stewardship meetings.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 Years corporate fundraising experience
  • Experience in consumer-based fundraising and success in fundraising from corporate sector
  • Strong office Suite and database management, preferred knowledge of Salesforce

  • The average salary range is $57,000- $82,000 , open to further discussion based on geography.

  • Limited travel approximately 25%
