Marcum LLP is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our growing National Human Resources team based in our Melville, NY office. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Benefits Department in the daily functions of benefits administration and compliance. The Human Resources Administrator also provides excellent client service, investigates new benefits offerings, improves existing programs and provides analytical support in the delivery of benefits programs. This role will report to the Benefits Manager.

The ideal candidate is a well-organized, detail-oriented professional who can handle high volumes of transactions, tight deadlines, and highly confidential and sensitive information.


Responsibilities

  • Management of enrollments and determination of employee eligibility.

  • Coordination with Payroll for appropriate benefit deductions.

  • Processing of terminations, address changes and qualifying life events.

  • Monthly billing reconciliation.

  • Assist with Firm Compliance.

  • Handle benefit inquiries and complaints.

  • Develop communication tools.

  • Perform post-enrollment audits.

  • Assist with other ad hoc HR administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree focusing on Human Resources or related field, or recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to switch from one task to another seamlessly.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Previous Human Resources internship preferred.

Compensation Range

Hourly: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00
