The Fairmont Neighborhood School (1550 Vyse Avenue)

$40,000 - $50,000/year

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Community School Director, the Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Community School Leadership Team at the Fairmont Neighborhood School and Samara Community School. The Data Coordinator works closely with the Community School core team to oversee key components of the data systems developed to capture the services, supports and programs delivered at Fairmont Neighborhood School and Samara Community School. The Data Coordinator will participate in meetings with the Youth Division's data team, the Office of Performance Management (OPM) and the external evaluator of the Full-Service Community School (FSCS) grant. The Data Coordinator provides administrative support and manages additional projects and duties as indicated by the Community School Director. The Data Coordinator will be responsible for greeting clients and guests, operating the central switchboard, and will be the primary person responsible for data entry and other clerical functions which support the day-to-day operations of Fairmont Neighborhood School.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of data collection and data entry as prescribed by the leadership team in accordance with government and private funding contract guidelines.
  • Greet visitors and interact with the general public in a manner that is aligned with the values and mission of Children's Aid.
  • Process applications, and intake forms for Children's Aid programs such as after school, summer camp and other related programs.
  • Provide logistical support and coordination for special events, which includes sign in sheets, survey distribution and family engagement.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as needed, to support the work of the Community School team.
  • Support the data collection and reporting needed for student and family services, supports, programs and activities.
  • Build and implement appropriate data systems in place to track participation, quality and impact of all activities for students and families
  • Prepare biweekly reports to present at Core Team meetings.
  • Attend DYCD, FSCS, and Children's Aid OPM and Youth Division and any other necessary meetings connected to to data collection.
  • Perform all other related functions as necessary or assigned such as administrative work, managing projects for Community School Director and Program Director

Qualifications:

  • Strong Written & Verbal Communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet navigation, and database management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues across a spectrum of functional areas.
  • High School Diploma. Candidates with some college and/or currently enrolled in a college or university are strongly encouraged to apply.
