Position Summary

We are looking for an Associate Director to join our Data & Product Operations Team at KINESSO. You'll have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in media and marketing with a passion and curiosity for working across multiple teams. You will be critical in the hands-on and day-to-day management & execution of key operational processes, product buildouts, and pushing timelines for projects.

The Associate Director of Data & Product Operations will work cross-functionally between both internal Operations, Product, and Engineering Teams, along with key Agency and external partners, to manage comms and timelines, provide logistical support, and ensure adherence to and continually review and upgrade our standardized processes

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate between internal Data & Tech Teams and Agency Teams to gather the requirements needed to onboard clients to our centralized Reporting Platform
  • Oversight of existing Product Operations processes and workflows, including the maintenance of internal documentation, Agency engagement models, Asana usage, etc.
  • Conduct regular audits of existing processes noted above and proposing better ways-of-working
  • Assist in leading the centralized Product Operations processes related to platform account management, including credential, verification, and access management
  • Monitor, triage, and escalate any issues related to data completeness, timeliness, recency, or overall accuracy within our database
  • Lead configuration of data-streams to collect data from various platforms or via data connectors
  • Maintenance of centralized data/ad account tracker and facilitation of any access issues with internal Engineering, Data Ops, and Agency Teams
  • Oversight of general user onboarding to data platforms and tools, including ongoing support for downstream users, including product teams, agency teams, and client teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with external partners to escalate and troubleshoot any issues related to the individual 3rd party data platforms or data connector platforms
  • Support and lead on behalf of the Product Operations Team during weekly statuses with the larger Reporting Product Team to communicate key updates, roadblocks, goals, etc.
  • Manage User Onboarding for any-net new team members, downstream Agency users, etc.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with internally with Reporting & Agency Teams by managing expectations, tracking key project deliverables, setting realistic timelines, and showing a strong understanding of the Data Platform
  • Engage with and educate Agency Teams on our existing processes, and help to address any needs or questions related to Client Onboarding and the overall Data Platform
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and drive forward efforts to continue evolving and optimizing our internal workflows

Required Skills & Experience
  • Five+ years of experience in an agency role, with a strong background in digital planning, investment, analytics, or project management, while also understanding the fundamental structure of an agency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (this role will involve working with multiple teams - both internal and external - virtually and in-person)
  • Knowledge of both traditional and digital media, as well as general metrics available for reporting from digital channels (DCM, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Any prior experience with Project Management Tools/Systems (i.e. Asana, JIRA) is a plus
  • Strong skills with Microsoft suite of products, namely Excel & PowerPoint

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in: Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, or related field
