Job Summary

The IT Manager reports directly to the Director, IT and has high visibility to upper management. This is a critical role in the IT department and requires strong leadership skills. The IT Manager will manage a results driven team and provide coverage and support for the Director, IT as needed.

Location

This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities
  • Collect requirements for in house development projects
  • Design, supervise developers and participate in the implementation of in house projects
  • Work with external vendors building new products and customer implementations
  • Assist Director of IT managing the infrastructure and maintaining the relationship with the network and PC support teams
  • Assist Director of Information Technology implementing IT initiatives and various projects
  • Perform special projects and analysis for various departments
  • Support Business Analysts/Project Managers through customer's onboarding process
  • Participate in IT management calls representing Purolator International
Experience
  • 3-6 years' experience in an IT Management role is required.
  • PMP Certification and/or Project Management Skills are preferable but not required.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required
  • This person must be a team player and leader within the department and when working with other departments and vendors. This role requires strong analytical coding skills and the ability to perform under pressure. This person will be required to manage multiple projects at any given time.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and XP
  • Experience in ASP.NET MVC
  • Solid SQL experience (SQL server, Mysql, Postgresql)
  • Solid JQuery experience
  • Working knowledge with Jira
  • Windows 2003, Windows 2008 experience
  • IIS6 & IIS7 experience
  • Active directory, Membership and Roles understanding and work experience

To support state laws for New York, California and Washington Residents, the base pay range for this role is $114,008 - $132,317. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on various factors such as job-related knowledge, and relevant skills and experience.
