ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Director, Revenue Growth Management/OPEX position steers the strategic framework and the integrated operational execution of pricing, promotions and pack architecture across all channels to sustainably maximize revenue and profitability. Further, they are responsible for leading and championing Operational Excellence in the affiliate, working with the Director of OPEX Acceleration to ensure programs are executed, techniques and capabilities are fully embedded and embraced across the organization.

This role is a key member of the Sales Leadership team and requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep history in revenue growth management practices and experience as a change agent in complex, matrixed organizations. The role has a hybrid working model and is expected to work in our Stamford, CT office 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement revenue growth strategies to deliver the company's goals and objective through the integrated management of pricing, promotions, trade investment and pack architecture.
  • Lead the analytics, system competency and process development/ adherence across the RGM levers to ensure consistent delivery of outputs across a team of three RGM Managers. Play the role of captain/ coach, leading by example with responsibility for implementing RGM for an assigned category.
  • Develops and steers pricing strategy, price monitoring and RSP development. Coordinates the identification of price-based growth opportunities and associated analytics. Maintains a suite of reports and tools to track price-based market dynamics and ensures timely delivery of insights into the organization.
  • Leads the creation of promotional (including coupon) strategy formation, ensures guidelines for all categories are developed at top customer and channel level based on rigorous financial analysis and strong understanding of market or competitive dynamics. Ensures the team retains a strong understanding of competitive activity and impact and can articulately explain competitive promotional drivers.
  • Ensures executional adherence to promotional strategies and guidelines, steers performance improvement and recommends resource deployment to optimize sales, revenue and TTC investment and deliver promotional intensity targets based on pre and post activity analysis.
  • Steers the analytics and champions pack architecture recommendations for new and existing products. Provides recommendations for assortment optimization, tail cutting, power skus, mix management.
  • Supports the OPEX Acceleration Director by ensuring operational excellence techniques, analyses and capabilities are embedded into standard ways of working across the organization at all levels. Champion the program of change management and upskilling of cross functional teams. Drive delivery and ensure execution of identified opportunities.
  • Supports the development of three Revenue Growth Managers and a Director of Revenue Growth Management. Delivers consistency of output, builds the competencies and capabilities of the team and identifies opportunities to improve current approaches to tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
  • 5+ years of Revenue Growth Management experience or Controlling finance. Trade Marketing, Sales Strategy, or similar discipline experience is also highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Proven experience in translating analysis into insight and action.
  • Leadership experience with a proven track record of developing high performing teams.
  • Project management experience with high visibility to leadership and proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills to influence and secure cross-functional support at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have high level of business and financial acumen to build strong business cases for change.
  • Must be technology savvy and have strong office productivity software skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, SAP)
