ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Customer Business Analyst - Grocery/Broker, is responsible for leading the support of the Grocery/Broker Sales team leads through data analytics. This role requires strong analytic skill set as well as the ability to multitask and pivot based on business priorities. The candidate must have the ability to work under pressure, being solution oriented and have an ability to prioritize deliverables. The location of this role is flexible but must be based in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver business and financial performance analytics across channel.
  • Provide analytic support on shipments and point of sale metrics.
  • Assist account managers with regular and ad hoc analysis of customer accounts.
  • Deep dive analytics on brand and customer specific level.
  • Drive data-based decision making amongst the regional field managers with proactive analytic support.
  • Collaborate /w broker partners regarding ways of working, performance tracking, reporting, and new business opportunities.
  • Channel point of contact to streamline communication and information flow to create synergies across teams.
  • Own detailed analytics to support item forecasting, Lead the communication to internal stakeholder and business areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 to 5 years required; CPG sales/account management experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of account specific systems
  • Strong knowledge of CPG industry
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Nielsen and/or IRI preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • BS Degree in Business or related field
