Job Description
The International Regional Business Manager (IRBM) is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing the sales process, from demand creation through post order support outside the Unites States.  The specified geographic region includes the rest of the world outside the United States except for Canada.  The International region includes Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and South America.  The company’s pursuits are focused on accounts based in Europe, Japan, Taiwan, India and South Korea. The successful applicant must be committed to drive, motivate, and manage a team of manufacturer’s representatives and distribution sales partners, and manage direct accounts to meet or exceed the company’s sales goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed the region’s order booking’s goal.
  • Define key account growth strategies including goals and objectives for each Tier 1 account in the region.
  • Identify specific major programs and the associated product development and/or support needed to achieve ongoing new business activities.
  • Establish relationships with the design, engineering, program, and procurement management teams at our customer’s sites to identify key decision makers and secure design wins.
  • Manage Manufacturer’s Representative’s activities and attain fair, or better, mindshare for Sensitron.
  • Establish strong distributor relationships to drive Point of Sales growth within the territory and produce leads for new design opportunities.
  • Provide a detailed and accurate 12-month rolling bookings forecast.
  • Maintain data in company Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) tool (SalesForce.com).
  • Travel to customers within the region and to Sensitron facilities in support of all objectives above. Travel up to 60% may be required.  It is expected the IRBM will travel into the region, a minimum of 2 (two) times per calendar quarter or a minimum of 8 (eight) trips per calendar year.  The trips need to be extended beyond 1 week up to 2 weeks whenever practical to be as efficient as possible.  e.g., a trip to Scandinavian countries might also include a visit to accounts in the United Kingdom or Norther European countries such as Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.  A trip to Spain might also include travel to accounts in France and Italy.  A trip to South Korea might also includes a trip to Japan and or Taiwan.  Etc., etc.,
Requirements:
  • The successful candidate must possess a high level of technical acumen to support the design-in of complex and wide-ranging products. A strong understanding of analog and power electronics principles is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in the analog/power semiconductor and/or power electronic product industry.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience and track record selling into the Military, Space and Aerospace OEM customer base in the defined region.
  • Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree or experience.
  • Ability to communicate at technical levels to promote company’s strategic products and to comprehend customer’s needs and requirements.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and communications skills.
  • Self-motivated and flexible with proven management skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word skills. Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.
  • Must be a US citizen.
