We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Scientist II to join our Regulatory team in our Clark Research facility. The Regulatory Affairs team is part of the Safety, Regulatory, Claims and Micro (SRCM) team that supports the work for R&I and the Americas zone.

As a Senior Regulatory Scientist II in our Regulatory Affairs team, your main responsibilities are:

  • Review raw materials and formulations to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards
  • Provide advice to labs and product development teams and give guidance on potential regulatory compliance issues
  • Assist in the preparation and review and dissemination of regulatory compliance documents.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding ingredients, formulations, regulatory issues and associated requirements.
  • Manage regional projects and be able to collaborate with countries and to set up priorities
  • Monitor new regulations, evaluate impact to L'Oreal business and lead on next steps
  • Provide training as needed to internal teams and working groups
  • Collaborate with worldwide network as needed, including early morning/late meetings

To Succeed in this Position, You Have:

  • A completed Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required, advanced degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive regulatory affairs experience in the cosmetic, fragrance, OTC, and/or consumer/personal health care industries, with global vision of the profession is required
  • Strong results driven, project management skills to drive tasks to completion
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and summarize complex regulatory requirements and initiatives for key business target audiences.
  • Full proficiency in English
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future (required)
