What part will you play?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance, along with proficiency in integrating audio-visual solutions into network environments. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, as well as hands-on experience in deploying and managing audio-visual systems within complex network architectures.

What will you be doing?

  • Design, deploy, and maintain robust network infrastructure solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking components, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and implement audio-visual solutions that meet the organization's needs, integrating AV equipment with existing network infrastructure.
  • Configure and troubleshoot audio-visual devices, such as projectors, displays, video conferencing systems, and audio equipment, to ensure seamless operation and compatibility with the network.
  • Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize audio-visual performance, minimize latency, and ensure quality of service (QoS) for multimedia traffic.
  • Conduct network capacity planning and performance monitoring to identify potential bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and proactively address network issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate new audio-visual technologies, products, and services, and make recommendations for their adoption based on business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices related to audio-visual integration and network management.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging networking and audio-visual technologies, standards, and trends, and assess their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure and operations.
  • Participate in project planning and execution, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and documentation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements for audio-visual solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

What do we require from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level networks.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS, and multicast.
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Palo Alto Networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Proficiency in integrating audio-visual solutions into network environments, with experience configuring and troubleshooting AV devices and protocols (e.g., HDMI, HDCP, HDBaseT, Dante) preferred.
  • Familiarity with audio-visual standards and technologies, such as H.264, H.265, SIP, WebRTC, Dante, AES67, and SDVoE preferred.
  • Experience with video conferencing systems (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex) and collaboration tools, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network and AV issues in a timely manner preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, AVIXA CTS, or equivalent are a plus.

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
