Job Description

Position Summary:
This role will report directly to the Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager and will have two direct reports. Responsibilities will include leading close activities for domestic plants, cost containment actions and driving accountability to targeted commitments. The individual should have an eye towards continuous improvement, leveraging technology and other solutions to automate and scale our processes to enable strategic decisions. The individual must possess excellent critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and possess an attention to detail, while comprehending the bigger picture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively lead thoughtful analysis regarding the Supply Chain impact on the P&L, Balance Sheet and key financial metrics
* Lead financial close for domestic entities, including SOX controls (Plant Spend Actual vs. Budget, Purchase Price and Production Variance Analyses) and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Prepare, enter and review journal entries
* Maintain process documents as applicable in close management and balance sheet reconciliation software
* Support monthly forecast regarding variances for domestic plants
* Contribute in developing yearly operation plans, budgets, and estimating new product costs, understanding overhead structure, etc.
* Recommend and drive Supply Chain Finance related process improvements; provide input to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of forecasting and reporting.
* Collaborate effectively with Supply Chain Operations, General Accounting, Commercial Finance, and other internal partners to drive actionable decisions to deliver business results.
* Supply internal and external audit teams with information and analysis for annual audits and quarterly reviews as required
* Ad hoc projects as requested by management
* Motivate, retain, and develop key staff.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
* 5-7 years of directly related Finance experience within a manufacturing/supply chain organization
* Previous supervisory experience required
* Strong Excel Skills, Microsoft office suite, Power BI a plus
* Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
* Aptitude to succeed in a competitive and deadline-oriented environment
* Solid understanding of Information Systems/ERP Systems
