Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a CADD Designer/Sr. CADD Designer to join its team in Mt. Laurel, NJ! We are a full-service consulting engineering and construction observation/ testing firm involved in leading-edge engineering solutions for the latest cellular technology to meet the demands of major carriers and tower owners nationwide.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineers to perform telecommunication facility design work. Transform telecommunications, architectural and structural engineering designs into CADD produced drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Set up and draft plans by analyzing sketches, field notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings.
  • Draft leasing, permitting and construction plans while working with engineering staff.
  • Conform to the company's standard CADD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
  • Produce photosimulations.
  • Work with multiple project teams to help in project completion.
  • Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets.
    • Review Lease Exhibits prepared by others.
    • Review Zoning & Construction Drawings (raw lands, rooftops, etc.) prepared by others.
  • Complete assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased.
  • Complete site visits to job sites for design input.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school.
  • 4-10+ years in related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Photoshop experience preferred.
  • Telecom specific design experience a plus.
  • Able to complete field work requiring walking as well as travel required.
