Job Description:

Raritan Valley Community College has an anticipated opening for an Adjunct to teach part-time in Computer Science for the upcoming Fall 2022 semester for Database Development and Design, Tuesday evenings 5:30 - 9:20. This course provides students an overview of basic types of commercially offered database systems with a focus on relational databases. The semester begins August 31, 2022.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in discipline required.

Teaching experience is preferred, college level is strongly preferred.

In order to be considered for the position the candidate must have:

a working knowledge of computer concepts and a programming language (Java, Python, or C preferred)
a working knowledge of SQL with Oracle or some other relational database
a working knowledge of design (using normal forms), implementation and maintenance of relational databases.
