Posting Summary | Rutgers University- Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking a Qualitative Research Manager for the Joseph C. Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies. Reporting to the Director of the Cornwall Center, this position will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and conducting qualitative and mixed methods research projects. Specializing in research in high-quality instruction, critical or transformative education programs and practices, improving urban schools, or related areas of practice or policy, this position will meet the data and research needs of the Cornwall Center to advance the university's anchor institution work. The data, and research needs for the anchor institution mission span place-based efforts, such as our work with Newark Public Schools and Newark's most impacted communities to our statewide efforts working with education institutions and advocacy organizations to promote equity in opportunities, achievement, and post-secondary attainment. Work Arrangement | Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
