Summary: The Child Mind Institute (CMI) is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead for our NGDT (Next Generation Digital Therapeutics) group, which is focused on rapidly innovating mental health therapeutics and treatment response monitoring tools for children and adolescents using emerging technologies including augmented reality, virtual reality, and biometrics. This 20-month position will help CMI, through its partnership with California's Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), build the next generation of digital therapeutics. As part of CMI's research team, our mission is to accelerate the pace of scientific innovation and discovery in mental health and learning, and help foster collaborations that can test, improve upon, and adopt innovative solutions for the benefit of every child. The QA Lead will own product quality across our portfolio, with a focus split between our groundbreaking MindLogger platform and emerging NGDT products. You will maintain a deep understanding of all of our products and their unique needs and use-cases. Your passion for enhancing the speed of development and process will elevate the caliber of our products and limit customer pain time (CPT). In your role as the head of product quality across all NGDT products, you'll develop, implement, and optimize processes associated with reports, bugs, and test cases. You will leverage your comprehensive understanding of all NGDT products, use-cases, and cross-functional communication with research to empower you to prioritize issue backlogs, orchestrate manual and automated test cases, and build a robust infrastructure for product support. Working closely with the Senior Engineering Director and Engineering Directors, you will assist in quality-centered communications and reporting (10%), execute and refine processes related to reports, bugs, and test cases (50%), and lead the development and enhancement of a robust QA function (40%). Reporting to the Senior Engineering Director, this is a Full-time, exempt position located in our NYC headquarters or California office. A hybrid schedule is possible.
