The successful candidate will have the following:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience in the building maintenance field with an emphasis in facilities or industrial painting environment; or any combination of education, experience or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
- Ability to read and interpret work order requests; must own or have daily access to an extensive tool crib and related painting equipment and supplies.
- Familiar with interpreting floor layouts, sketches, and manufacturers' specifications.
- Must own or have access to a van, truck, or utility vehicle daily.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Requires lifting, carrying, climbing, loading, bending, testing, kneeling and tightening associated with routine facility maintenance and use of corresponding tools regularly, for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift equipment, fixtures and/or materials up to 80 lbs.
- Routinely exposed to inclement weather conditions. May be exposed to harsh chemicals or odors.
- Must be available for scheduled emergency on-call service and will be required to carry a cell phone during regularly scheduled working hours and scheduled emergency on-call service.
- Tolerance of multi-story heights.
Scope:
- Required sitting for long periods of time.
- Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 75 lbs.
