Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an EngineeringScheduler - within our Rotoflow Business (Rotoflow is a full-service turbomachinery OEM providing a wide range of new equipment solutions and aftermarket services to our customers globally) located at Bethlehem, PA.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the engineering team and the stakeholders (i.e., Project Managers, Product Owners, Proposals, Manufacturing Scheduler, Supply Chain, Management, etc.),
  • Establish and maintain multi-disciplinary engineering tasks and activities within project schedules, aligned with input from the appropriate stakeholders,
  • Ability to manage and update multiple project schedules in parallel,
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to assign resources to tasks and activities to ensure workload is balanced, resource capability matches the tasks, and work is prioritized appropriately,
  • Manage the schedule and activities for the engineering team to ensure they are meeting their performance and productivity targets and create reports for the stakeholders,
  • Perform sensitivity analysis on baseline schedules to identify potential bottlenecks, critical path items, resource constraints, and other threats to maintaining the schedule,
  • Perform time impact and critical path analyses to determine the extent of impact due to schedule delays,
  • Perform evaluations and analysis on engineering tasks and activities as well as provide recommendations for schedule recovery working with stakeholders and internal and external suppliers,
  • Support conflict resolution between the engineering team and stakeholders and diligently escalate time sensitive issues to the appropriate stakeholders and levels of Management,
  • Support and update the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process within Rotoflow including compiling data on sales forecasts and pipeline work, resourcing plans, supply chain capacity, shop floor capacity, etc.,
  • Conduct schedule improvement workshops and collaboratively identify ways to streamline tasks, activities, and improve workflows,
  • Promote safety and diversity consistent with the philosophies of Rotoflow.

Education and Licensing Requirements:

  • Technical Degree: BS or related degree in engineering or a technical field, is preferred,

  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification or equivalent a plus,

  • AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (AACE PSP) Certification or equivalent a plus,

  • 5+ years' experience scheduling complex engineering activities/projects with interdependencies,

  • Familiarity with precision rotating equipment design and engineering processes a plus,

  • Experience with and expertise in managing project schedules in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.

  • Experience with and expertise in managing projects in SAP software a plus.
