Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Laboratory Manager.
The Laboratory Manager is a specialized research professional who under the direction of the Associate Director works on all technical and QC functions for the lab. The Laboratory Manager will provide direct professional support of research activities. This position involves familiarity with handling, processing, storing, and distributing human specimens; maintaining an up-to-date database, and working with other members of the research team on quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of the biorepository.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in life science or health-related field or 5+ years of clinical orresearch laboratory experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication both through technology and inperson
- Good analytical skills to evaluate the importance and urgency of problems,ability to solve non-routine issues
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational skills, time management, as well as patience and steadycommitment toward achievement of goals
-Strong computer skills (LabVantage, iLab, File Maker Pro, Microsoft Office)
-Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $90,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
