Job Description

As a Senior Associate of International Tax you will be a key member of the Tax Team responsible for international reporting and compliance matters, with a focus on US inclusion and global minimum tax. A successful candidate for this role will embrace a mindset of continuous improvement through leveraging best-in-class processes and technologies to deliver on their objectives. They will also foster a spirit of collaboration and professionalism in their interactions with various interdepartmental partners such as Legal, Treasury, Finance, and Commercial colleagues.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare quarterly and year-end global tax accounting computations (i.e. GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Sub F, Branch operations, FTC, Pillar 2/GMT, etc.). Ensure results are in accordance with ASC-740 principles under US GAAP
  • Prepare calculation of related non-U.S. uncertain tax position reserves in according with ASC 740-10 (f/k/a Fin48)
  • Assist in developing Tax Rate and Cash Tax Guidance
  • Prepare US International reporting forms (i.e. 1118, 5471, 8858, etc.)
  • Keep abreast of development in tax laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Establish effective tax control processes; drive a culture of continuous improvement around tax process, tax reporting/compliance, documentation, and tax controls.
  • Support and leverage technology, processes, and systems to improve tax compliance & reporting,
  • Ad hoc projects

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 2-5 years of related experience working for a large public accounting firm or combination of public accounting and large multinational corporation
  • Experience in ASC-740 tax reporting/accounting.
  • Proactive, attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, ability to prioritize and to work autonomously.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative manner with other team members and exude a positive and winning attitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Desired

  • Master of Science in Accounting/Taxation and/or CPA
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM
  • Experience/proficiency with automation/tax solutions, e.g., OneSource, CorpTax, Alteryx, PowerBi

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 84,000 USD - 115,920 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
