Role and Responsibilities:
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced community support advisor to join our team and help empower individuals within our community to reach their full potential. As a Community Support Coach, you'll work closely with individuals to assess their needs, develop personalized support plans, and connect them with community resources to help them achieve their goals.

  • Job Development (helping people find jobs)

  • Community Connecting (trying new hobbies and participating in recreational activities)

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, AS/AA or higher preferred
  • 6 months employment in a position that demonstrates person accountability and decision making (nonpaid family caregivers or related personal experience can be substituted)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to communicate effectively (read, write, and speak in English) with people served and team members.
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations, performing different jobs based upon the needs of the people served
  • Desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities

Environmental Demands:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations will be made. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily working within an office environment and will occasionally be required to visit and audit other locations and facilities. Occasionally exposed to outside weather while traveling between locations. Noise is typical of a busy office environment.
