Job Summary:

• Supports the development of short and long term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.
• Investigates emerging new opportunities and refinements to existing health insurance plan products within assigned medical market segments.
• Prepares analysis on product performance to determine proper intervention and corrective actions of health plan benefits when necessary.
• Analyzes and monitors competition to make recommendations to management on best product positioning and development.
• Participates in the successful implementation and maintenance, as the product subject matter expert, for new or enhancement of existing products.
• Participate in activities related to the Qualified Health Plan (QHP) filings.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, health administration, economics, mathematics, statistics or other liberal arts studies from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Prefers minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare industry and/or healthcare product development or analytics.

Knowledge:

• Must be proficient in the use of computers and supporting software in a Windows based environment, including MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge of healthcare/health insurance industry
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

Salary Range:

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
