Responsibilities

Related Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager who can keep pace with the firm's development projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time and on budget. The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects that align with organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of low voltage design plans to meet project requirements, schedules, and budgets.
  • Assures technology standards are configured and implemented.
  • Meets with the owner and stakeholders to develop project scope of work and specifications.
  • Develops project budgets and schedules.
  • Performs field walks on a regular basis to monitor progress and address issues in the field.
  • Works with technology design and engineering teams, internal or external, to create design documents and material lists.
  • Coordinates integration of building systems (BMS, Lighting control, Security, AV etc.) and telecommunications systems with technical services vendors
  • Conducts pre-installation site review and regular site visits.
  • Plans and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on assigned installations
  • Creates and maintains project plans, schedules, activities, issues lists, and risk registries.
  • Communicates and reports project status, issues and risks.
  • Maintains productive relationships with project sponsorship groups to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure projects are completed on time, on schedule, and within budget thresholds.
  • Acts as a liaison between our deployment vendor and our internal technical teams to ensure they work fluidly together.
  • Acts as an escalation point for all AV issues with our Conference Room Technology Equipment.
  • Ensures that all projects are deployed with Related's network and cybersecurity standards.

Compensation

  • $100,000 - $130,000 / year
  • Annual performance-based bonus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as an IT Project Manager or relevant IT Project Management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Understanding of telecom services (ISPs, VoIP, POTs)
  • Technical experience and or understanding of network technologies (Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, etc...) and basic networking concepts
  • Knowledge of building technology and systems (cameras, video, access controls, lighting, BMS, power/cogeneration, DAS, vertical transportation) and supplementary systems such as digital signage, pedestrian counting, wayfinding, location services.
  • Experience Supporting connected conference rooms with technologies like Webex, Teams, or Zoom room kits
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools (SmartSheets knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience managing external consultants
  • PMP, CCNA, Cisco Meraki, Security+, Network+, A+ and other relevant certifications are a plus!

Hybrid role (Week 1 [3 days onsite] / Week 2 [2 days onsite] / & visa versa)
