Summary: The Social Worker at the Healthy Brain Network will be responsible for coordinating and contributing to no-cost diagnostic evaluations conducted for the Healthy Brain Network (HBN), an exciting initiative aimed at collecting imaging, genetic, and phenotypic data from 10,000 children and adolescents. The comprehensive psychological evaluations can provide diagnosis and support IEP advocacy and include measures of cognition, executive functioning, academic achievement, language and social and emotional functioning. The Social Worker will be primarily responsible for completing detailed psycho-social histories, conducting diagnostic mental health assessments and assisting families with referrals. The Social Worker will be interfacing directly with children, adolescents, and families at one of our HBN diagnostic centers (located in Harlem).
Reporting to the Social Work Supervisor, this is an exempt, full-time position located at our Harlem location. The position will be a hybrid of work from home and in office work.
