REPORTS TO: Director, ESG
LOCATION: Purchase, NY
STATUS: Non-Exempt
Triton's Internship Program is a paid opportunity for talented and qualified individuals to gain real world, resume-building experience at a globally diverse, industry-leading company. Over the duration of 10-12 weeks, our interns work alongside and learn from some of the best executives in the supply-chain and intermodal equipment leasing sectors.

  1. FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY:

The ESG Intern will assist with various projects and tasks while gaining hands-on work experience, employment skills & career development opportunities. The ESG Intern should have a significant interest in ESG / Sustainability and its intersection with business.
  1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with one or more special projects as assigned which could include:
    • Assist in collecting, organizing and analyzing environmental footprint and/or social impact data
    • Conduct ESG research and benchmarking
    • Support planning and coordination of employee volunteer events and other corporate ESG initiatives
    • Create and update presentations and research summaries
    • Work with Communications team to promote ESG efforts internally and externally
  • Perform other duties as assigned
IV. REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
  • Working toward a bachelor's in environmental studies, corporate social responsibility, finance, accounting, economics, social sciences or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic professional environment
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Purchase office
  • Ability to commit to 37.5 hours/week
  • We follow a hybrid working schedule of 3 days in the office (Monday - Wednesday)
This is a paid internship. The expected hourly rate for this role is $20/hour.
