Material Handler in Windsor Locks, CT
The Chemical Management Services (CMS) Material Handler will work onsite at a PPG Customer facility.
Location: 1 Hamilton Road, Windsor Locks, CT 06096
Starting Pay- $26.00
1stShift/ 7:00 am - 3:30 pm / Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
- This material handling position supports PPG's Chemical Management Services (CMS).
- In this role you'll be reporting daily to our customer site(s) in Windsor Locks, CT area.
- Inventory RFID scanning, unloading, sorting and replenishment to customer point of use locations are the primary focus.
- Adhere to workplace safety procedures and support efforts to report near miss incidences to improve safety.
- Operate industrial material handling vehicles (i.e. Taylor Dunn Carts), pallet jacks and push carts around a large in door facility.
- Requires the ability work alone as well as part of a team.
- You will be required to wear company provided PPE (i.e. safety shoes and glasses), uniform, lift material in varying sizes and weights (normally >50lbs.) and be able to walk for much of the day.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to work holidays and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work first or second shift.
