The EVP, Group Director, Project Management (EVP Group Director, PM) is an organizational leader who is accountable to, and advises on, the full range of client deliverables for agency multi-brand portfolio. The EVP Group Director, PM capably manages and inspires agency, department, and brand teams, reviewing and approving staffing plans, talent acquisition activities, and matching talent-to-task. The EVP Group Director, PM leads the most complex omni- and multichannel development efforts with production expertise, advising teams, vendors/partners, and clients on best practices, scopes, pricing, and schedules. The EVP Group Director, PM owns strong cross-functional relationships, working closely with all agency departments and leads. The EVP Group Director, PM takes a lead role in business development and agency/network initiatives and cultural efforts to identify, propose, and execute solutions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Agency & Department Responsibilities: Leads holistic client, department, and agency solutions, and oversees portfolio of work across full range of client deliverables from project planning to final delivery with regard to timing, quality, and budget.

* Financial Responsibilities: Partners cross-functionally with Account and Finance to preserve good financial health of the department and agency multi-brand portfolio.

* Operational: Responsible for adherence and improvement to department and agency policies, process, and procedures.

* Talent Management: Leads PM team across department multibrand portfolio by providing mentorship/guidance, hiring, and retaining highly capable people, resourcing, and fostering inclusive and positive culture.

* Culture & Community: Participates and leads internal and external initiatives to elevate agency and network operations, community, and brand.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Agency and Department Responsibilities

* Partners with senior leadership to form a strong understanding of the full agency's client portfolio to help teams build tactical and project plans that address strategic business goals.

* Accountable for, and advises on, full range of client deliverables for department multi-brand portfolio from project planning to final delivery with regard to timing, quality, and budget.

* Serves as lead and escalation point for high-level issues across the agency portfolio.

* Serves as content matter expert (CME) to answer client project-related questions and attend client meetings as needed.

* Advises internal teams on agency PM capabilities regarding particular client needs and asks.

* Solves project, team, and client challenges in tight collaboration with internal stakeholders.

* Leads partnership meetings with internal leadership stakeholders in Account, Creative, Broadcast, and

* Editorial to discuss portfolio health and other strategic topics.

* Encourages healthy collaboration with Accounts, Finance, and other internal departments.

* Oversees status and internal brand meetings, contributing and providing valuable input.

* Understands, upholds, and enforces internal procedures and brand requirements.

* May oversee Project Management teams at multiple agencies, ensuring consistent processes and practices across all groups.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Partners cross-functionally with Account and Finance to proactively preserve good financial health of the agency portfolio.

* Reviews and approves project budget estimates.

* Offers creative solutions for projects that are at risk of falling behind, over budget, or have complexities that are not typical.

* Advises on issues, financial output reports, incoming briefs, and timelines/estimates from team prior to internal team review.

* Partners with senior PM leads, Account, and all cross-functional agency teams to build and approve scopes of work, tactical and staffing plans, pricing out assumption-based estimates, and resourcing for each tactic on a full-year plan.

* Collaborates with Account on forecasting initiatives.

* Contributes to general financial responsibilities such as approving reallocations of billing as needed, evaluating project completion costs for common trends or outliers, advising on new client requests and staff billability to examine financial and project risk.


REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree

* 20+ years of experience in Project Management and operations in a related field

* Pharma marketing/advertising experience strongly preferred.


SALARY

$225,000 to $258,800 annually

The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
