Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Civil EIT, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist engineers and Project Managers in performing engineering tasks that may include development of grading, utility design, and quantity calculations in support of preparing studies, designs, engineering recommendations, improvement plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist with and support AutoCAD production, Civil 3D design, and development of improvement plans.
  • Support development of quantities using a combination of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and hand calculations.
  • May attend and participate in occasional site visits and/or field meetings.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills. Be able to clearly describe work in written reports, presentations, technical memos, and emails.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, with guidance from other engineers, and as a part of a team.
  • Be able to follow instructions, ask questions, and resolve challenges in a team environment through collaboration and dialogue.
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineer in Training Certification. Those without an EIT Certification will have the title of Coordinator.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $70,499.00 - $95,381.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
