ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Community Development Department in Manchester, CT and work as a member of a team on projects including land development; urban infill and redevelopment, municipal projects, renewable energy, educational facilities, permitting, and more.

Under the general direction of Senior Engineers and Project Managers, this professional will support all aspects of land development engineering projects including performing detailed site design (e.g., layout, grading, utilities, erosion & sediment controls, etc.), assisting in the preparation of site plans and details; designing stormwater management systems; conducting field work; and assisting in report and permit writing activities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Typically requires 0-5 years' relevant experience; internship experience will be considered in lieu of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with construction is a plus
  • EIT registration preferred
  • Experience in AutoCAD & Civil 3D is a plus!
