Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

Job purpose

This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for the shipping and receiving of all medical products, maintains records, inventory and communication with internal customers regarding products.

Duties and responsibilities

    Fill daily accessory sales orders for new and existing customers.
  • Gather new sales equipment for QA/QC as requested to satisfy new products sales orders.
  • Receive new product equipment from outside vendors. Verify accuracy of shipment and deliver equipment assigned location in the Warehouse.
  • Pick loaner and demo scopes for shipment to external customers. Verify and deliver to the shipping department.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse, ensuring all products are allocated to proper locations.
  • Perform on going cycle counts, under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, along with monthly inventory accountability for all products. Verifies and matches stock levels as recorded in SAP and advise of any the discrepancy.
  • Actively searches and assists in finding misplaced product.
  • Daily tracks all accessory orders which have shipped and advises Customer Care Assistant Manager when stock needs to be replenished.
  • Assist shipping department as needed, in order to meet the shipment of the ES month end orders.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in the shipping and receiving procedures of a warehouse.
  • Detailed oriented and highly self -motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently along within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate analytical, problem solving and computer skills. Proficient in SAP, Word & Excel. Must have aptitude to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Ability to create and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Able to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • High School or GED diploma, advanced degree preferred plus at least three (3) years' work experience working in a fast paced warehouse and office environment.
  • Ability to research and analyze various different type of data information.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret essential job related documents.
  • Ability to present and speak effectively and professionally to all internal and external customers.
  • Ability to calculate and match figures and amounts.

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, ability to use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear.

The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 to 60 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
