Kleinfelder, a long-standing industry leader is looking for experienced DCA Structural Steel Inspector to join our Construction Materials, Engineering, and Testing (CoMET) operation in our Mt. Laurel, New Jersey office.

We're looking for construction testing professionals to join us in providing high-level services to our diverse client base on projects throughout New Jersey and the surrounding area. This role offers a dynamic work environment, the opportunity to work on multiple high-profile projects, and career growth potential.

Consideration for this position requires the following certifications or experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or construction inspection.
  • Nuclear density gauge safety, handling, operation, and transporting training
  • American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1
  • State of New Jersey - Department of Community Affairs (DCA), Special Inspection Certification for Structural Steel/Welding and / or additional DCA special inspection certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass drug test.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, maintaining composure, and working effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to use a company provided laptop or tablet computer and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Organization and multi-tasking ability.
  • A good work ethic, attention to detail, and high level of personal integrity.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
