Acara Solutions is looking for a Material Handler for our client located in Mahwah, NJ
Pay Rate: 24/hr.
Hours are 7am to 3pm
- Coordinating the outflow and inflow of inventory, storage activities within the company
- Receive, inspect and record incoming material according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Daily reporting of Stock-outs at point of use and warehouse; warehouse cycle counting
- Maintain and replenish production material through out the facility on daily basis to ensure there are no stock-outs at point of use nor at the warehouse level
- Conduct and participate in continuous improvement meetings/events
- Participate in the review, edit of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain organization of warehouse area, completing daily/weekly 5S and workplace safety audits as well as other related improvements activities / projects / assignments
- Safely move material on and off warehouse racks using stand up forklift
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new warehouse associates
- Ensure compliance to local and global Quality Management System per established procedures.
- Support and participate internal/external quality system audits as required
- Assist in investigating non-conforming materials and customer complaints
- Label incoming products as needed.
Other tasks / duties as assigned by plant management

- Proficiency in relevant SOPs and workplace safety
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to use a stand up fork lift and hand pallet jack
